What is a no-bake dessert

A no-bake dessert is a dessert that requires no baking. The moisture from the cream and the natural sweetness of the fruit come together to create a dessert without the use of chemicals, sugar, or eggs. The result is a gluten-free, dairy-free, and easy dessert that is perfect for last minute entertaining or when you want to treat yourself or a loved one. There are many no-bake desserts on the market that you can purchase at specialty stores or online. Some of the more popular no-bake desserts include no-bake brownies, no-bake cheesecakes, no-bake meringue, no-bake Key Lime pies and no-bake key lime smoothies.

There are also many recipes that can be made at home that call for cornstarch, egg whites, sugar, and baking soda. These recipes usually involve a stovetop cookery process that requires a good deal of clean up after the fact.

Make No Bake banana cream pie with homemade crust

If you’re looking for a no-bake dessert that is easy to make, try making this No Bake banana cream pie with homemade crust. This is one of my all-time easiest recipes and probably because I use olive oil instead of butter. All you need to do is mix together 3/4 cup all-purpose flour, 3/4 cup granulated sugar, 1/4 cup cornstarch, and 2 large eggs. Add 1/4 cup chilled OVEN-safe Healthcare margarine, 1/4 cup coconut milk, 1/4 cup unsweetened coconut milk, 1/4 teaspoon salt (or to taste), 1/4 teaspoon vanilla, and 1/4 cup ice cold-pressed olive oil.

If you don’t have any of these ingredients on hand, feel free to use butter or ghee. Maple syrup, honey, and other high-fructose corn syrup are also great Alternately, you can use 1/4 cup ground flaxseed meal instead of the olive oil. Once the crust and filling have been combined, press the mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie plate. You can cover the plate with plastic wrap or aluminum foil if it gets too sticky. Place the pie plate in the refrigerator and chill the pie for at least two hours before serving.

Make No Bake banana cream pie with chocolate shell

If you love chocolate and desserts in general, you will be in heaven after making this no-bake banana cream pie. All you have to do is mix together 1/4 cup semi-sweet baking chocolate, 1/4 cup granulated sugar, 1/4 cup cornstarch, 3/4 cup unsweetened coconut milk, 1/4 cup water, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon vanilla.

Once the chocolate mixture has been combined, add in 1/4 cup heavy cream and 1 tablespoon Grand Marnier liqueur. If you don’t have any of these ingredients on hand, feel free to use vanilla ice cream.

Once the filling has been added to the batter, place the batter in a 9-inch sniping or round baking pan. Make sure to use a light non-greasy hand mixer to ensure that the batter is thoroughly combined. Tap the bottom of the pan gently until the batter is completely smooth. Make sure not to over mix the batter or else you will end up with an inferior product.
